It simply means you should look for sites that are linked to your website in any way, and see if they might be interested in promoting your site to their users.

Whatever you do, do not send automatically generated link requests to any location. Most Webmasters consider them a nuisance at best and sp @ m at worst. Certainly, a personal e-mail to be welcomed, and it also does not hurt to pick up the phone and begin a dialogue with a potential partner link. Remember, very often these links from relevant sites will bring more visitors to your site, as does a high ranking in search engines.

My favorite way to get links (but most of the time) is simply the best site on the Internet in your specific niche. Interestingly enough, if your site is well written, provides much useful information and is constantly updated, you will not have to search often, links to all. Other sites you will connect to their own initiative.

This has worked for me on my local High ratings for many years. Without an active request, all links (except for a few important directories), hundreds of highly relevant sites HighRankings.com their list of recommended sites related to SEO have taken. Some people on my homepage, the other to the main newsletter page, and others in my forum. Some will have a direct link to an article or newsletter enjoyed it, and some will question whether they can publish anything on their website but also with a link.


This is the ideal, and not all pages will have the time or inclination to get to that stage. But I firmly believe that it can use any type of website in any kind of business this method if they are willing to work. I know of no other method can also bring the links from direct competitors! Personally I'd rather spend my time with the creation of a link-worthy site than sending out repetitive reciprocal link exchange requests ... But maybe that's just me!
